The 162nd Highland Games Festival is taking place this year in Victoria. The Tartan Parade will also be taking place in downtown Victoria on May 10th, leaving Centennial Square at 11:00 am and ending at the Legislature where dancing, bagpiping and drumming can be enjoyed along with the tossing of the caber.
The Highland Games Festival itself will consist of a Heavy Events Challenge, Canadian Drum Major Championship, SFU Pipe Band and much more! A free children’s entertainment area will also be available, as well as a Whisky School and Wine Tasting School for adults 19+.
When: Saturday, May 17th at 8:00 am – Sunday, May 18th at 5:30 pm
Where: Topaz Park, corner of Topaz Ave and Finlayson St
Tickets are available at the gates and children under 12 receive free admission.
