The businesses on our favourite docks are open after adding safety measures in place.

Restaurants will be at 50% seeing capacity and take-out options still available.

Please keep an eye out for the signs as the areas A, B & C will be closed to the public as they are still residential spaces.

10th Anniversary Exhibition at Madrona Gallery

Madrona has picked their 10th Anniversary to re-open after their closure due to Covid-19.

They will be featuring new works from their long standing artists including Meghan Hildebrand, Clayton Anderson, Morgana Wallace, Nicholas Bott, and many other.

On top of the new featured pieces some important historic Canadian works will be on display to mark the occasion.

Government Street Car Free!

Part of Government Street will be car free starting today until the fall.

The hope is to bring more pedestrian traffic through the downtown to some of the re-opened shops and businesses. The initiative will also let businesses open up more into the street for better social distancing. After October 31st the city councilor’s wills reassess the project.  

Legacy Drive-In

Drive in movie theatre is opening on the University of Victoria for three nights. Films will be shown on a 40-foot screen with space for 50 vehicles. The three films this weekend are Hook, The Life Aquatic and The Breakfast Club.

Later dates will be announced for the next three films Cool Running, Dirty Dancy and The Fifth Element.

The museum is starting their phased re-opening plan with newly implemented timed ticketed entry. This will mean each visitor will need to book an admission time to avoid crowds and lines forming.
